  • WHEN DOES MY LAUNDRY GET PICKED UP?
      • 1x/week service: You will select your preferred 1 hour time window within these times:
          • Pick-up: Thursdays, 12-5pm
          • Drop off: Fridays, 12-5pm

     

      • 2x/week service: You will also select your preferred 1 hour time window within these times:
        • Service #1: Pick-up Tuesdays, 12-5pm, Drop off Wednesdays, 12-4pm
        • Service #2: Pick-up Thursdays, 12-5pm, Drop off Fridays, 12-4pm

     

      • Contact Customer Care or noelle@washcyclelaundry.com to select your preferred 1 hour time window.

     

  • WHERE DOES MY LAUNDRY GET PICKED UP? 
      • We do not currently have direct access to your residence hall, so you will meet our cyclist face to face for your pick-up and drop off. Our cyclist will call you when they have arrived outside your dorm, and you can come and meet him or her in person.
        • If you leave your laundry unattended, we are not responsible for your belongings until it is in our possession.
  • WHEN DOES MY LAUNDRY GET RETURNED? 
    • Everything comes back the next day, during your selected time window.

     

  • WHAT DO I PUT MY LAUNDRY IN aka DO I GET A LAUNDRY BAG? 
      • We will provide you with a yellow Wash Cycle Laundry bag to use for all wash & fold orders.

     

        • Upon your first service, you should bring your laundry to meet your cyclist in a trash bag or hamper. The cyclist will then transfer the laundry directly into a Wash Cycle Laundry bag, which you will use for all future orders.

     

      • A few notes on bags:
          • We will only pick-up laundry in the yellow Wash Cycle Laundry bag. If you give us your laundry in another kind of bag or receptacle, we won't take it. (The exception being new orders getting transferred into a Wash Cycle Laundry bag.)

         

          • Your Laundry Plan allows you to have 1 Laundry bag.

         

          • If you don't have a Wash Cycle Laundry bag, contact Customer Care.

         

          • We expect this bag to last you all year. If you lose it, we reserve the right to charge you $5 for a new bag.

         

          • Don't overstuff your bag! If your bag does not easily close, and there is laundry falling out of the top, we reserve the right to not pick it up. We have this rule so we don't lose your items in transit. No one wants socks falling off the bike! You'll get an email from us if we've left your bag behind for this reason.

         

  • WHAT IF I MISS MY LAUNDRY TIME?
      • If you aren't around when our cyclist arrives within your 1 hour window, we likely won't pick-up your laundry and you'll have to wait until next week.

     

    • If this happens, and you are in desperate for clean underwear, please call Customer Care. There's a chance, though no promises, that we can get your laundry picked up another time. It just may mean dragging your laundry somewhere else or being on call based on our cyclist's schedule. So please, be on time!

     

  • TELL ME MORE ABOUT THE LAUNDRY PROCESS.

      • This is a Wash & Fold service, meaning we put everything in washers and dryers. By using our service, you agree that your clothes are suitable to be washed in wash, on a normal cycle, and dried using heat in a tumble dryer.

     

      • We don't check your pockets. If you left something in your laundry (lipstick, chewing gum, or a pen), we cannot be held responsible for any damage to your clothing.

     

      • Everything is washed together, or in other words, we don't separate your items into different loads. If you have delicates, colors that will run, or something that will shed, we cannot be held responsible if this happens during our laundering process.

     

      • We welcome you to put a delicates bag in with your laundry, or send us all your white clothes on a specific week if you are worried about damage.

     

  • WHAT IF SOMETHING IS MISSING?
    • We don't inventory every bag (it's super time consuming which would make this service cost-prohibitive), so we cannot be held responsible for lost items. However, if you do find that something is missing, please call Customer Care and report it within 24 hours. There's a good chance we can locate the item if we find out quickly. (Or maybe it's been at the bottom of your closet all along!)

     

  • WHAT IF I'D LIKE A REFUND? 
      • We will honor refunds up until the start of your service. If you cancel before your first pick-up, we will refund the full amount of your package less a 3% credit card processing fee. Please contact customer care if this is the case.

     

      • Once we've picked up your laundry the first time, there are NO refunds on the service for the semester or the year.

     

  • CAN I UPGRADE OR DOWNGRADE MY PLAN? 
      • If you've signed up for 1x/week service, you can upgrade to 2x/week service at any time. We will prorate this cost based on the remaining number of weeks in your plan. Simply fill out the form on the Sign Up page to select and pay for this upgrade.

     

      • If you've signed up for 2x/week service, you cannot downgrade to 1x/week.

     

  • WHAT IF I GIVE YOU TOO MUCH OR TOO LITTLE LAUNDRY?
      • With your Student Laundry Plan, there's no such thing!

     

      • If you don't have laundry in a given week, that's ok. Just keep in mind there are no refunds or downgrades for using the service for less than your package allows.

     

      • If you give us too much laundry, that's totally OK as long as everything fits in your provided Wash Cycle Laundry bag. (See the note above about the dangers of overstuffing.) There's no additional charges just because your bag is super heavy.

     

  • THIS IS SO AWESOME. MY FRIEND WANTS TO SIGN UP.

  • THERE'S GOTTA BE SOME OTHER LEGAL STUFF, RIGHT?
    • Sure is! By using our service, you are subject to all of these Terms and Conditions. Keep in mind some are different for Georgetown, but we've aimed to state all those changes here.
