My parents live in China, more than couple thousands of miles away from Philadelphia. Sending a care package is almost impossible because all the food that I crave could not get passed the international checkpoint; coming to Parent's Weekend is even more out of the line because it takes longer to travel than the actual time they would have spent here. Unable to be invovled in any aspect of my life in Philadelphia, if I ever ask my parents to enroll in a laundry plan because junior year is getting overwhelming, they would not hesitate a moment to say yes.
