Meet Jesse Frank. He’s the Fitness Director at Unite Fitness in Philadelphia.

Unite offers a 75-minute training session with a combination of cardio intervals, strength training, and stretching. This workout is so awesome and efficient, you’ll find Wash Cycle Laundry’s founder and CEO Gabriel Mandujano starting his days at Unite.
We sat down with Jesse to hear more about his experience with towel service, laundry and linen rental, and making time for expanding his business.

Unite Fitness uses Wash Cycle Laundry for three kinds of towels: microfiber, shower, and “sweaty.”

The microfiber towels are used by the staff for cleaning the yoga mats. The sweaty and shower towels are available for rent after workouts. Unite took what used to be an amenity, and turned it into a convenience. They earn revenue by renting the towels for just $1.

Before Wash Cycle Laundry came along, Unite used another towel service. A few, in fact.

“We went through multiple services. The kind that delivered in trucks.” All of these companies used the same towels for all their different business segments, returning towels to Unite that were covered in hair dye from a salon or grease stains from a restaurant.  “It was industrial. Those towels all had a certain smell. We care about chemicals on our towels, because our members care about the environment.”

Unite has other things to do than worry about laundry.

Leasing towels from Wash Cycle Laundry is way easier, more effective and efficient than owning the towels, doing laundry, and worrying about replacements. Jesse and the team at Unite had to simplify the running of their flagship Philadelphia location so they could work on expanding. Outsourcing their linens to Wash Cycle Laundry provides that time. (Look out for Unite’s expansion around the Philadelphia area and beyond!)

What’s Jesse’s favorite thing about Wash Cycle? “The bikes! Can I take one for a spin?”

“I have mad respect for the delivery guys and girls,” says Jesse. “Your people are well-trained, they know what to do and where to go.”

“Businesses like mine should use Wash Cycle Laundry because it’s easy and reliable.”

“I’ve texted, called, emailed. There are all different ways to connect. Even in an emergency, I’ve been able to get same-day service without a hassle. That’s huge.”
