Anthony Lewis works at the Center for H.O.P.E. (Housing, Opportunity, Purpose, Empowerment), an emergency shelter for homeless men.

When men enter the shelter, Anthony and his team work to identify and serve their needs: Income, employment, medical, education, emotional, or physical.

The CFH serves several thousand men a year. Stays may range from 3-6 months, after which the centerprepares the men move to transitional housing, move out on their own, or move into another suitable housing arrangement.

Wash Cycle washes all of the linen for their residents: bedsheets, blankets, towels, etc. Each week, the cyclists and laundry team pick up, wash, and deliver enough linens for the 170+ men living at the Center for Hope. Because the CFH rents linen from Wash Cycle, they never need to worry about replacements or numbers because Wash Cycle ensures that their stock remains consistent.

Prior to switching to Wash Cycle, the CFH worked with another laundry company. They were looking for a new provider, and in a competitive search, Wash Cycle was more economical and efficient.

In the past they would get complaints from residents about the linens, but Wash Cycle has been able to provide better quality, so now they are able to devote more time to serving the residents other, more pressing, needs.

Anthony appreciates Wash Cycle because they have been more "cost effective, timely, efficient all the way around."

For other organizations, Anthony notes that WCL is cost effective, first and foremost. He also notes that they now get compliments from community members that the linens are cleaner and smell better. Pick-up and drop off happen on time, and it works best for their budget.
